ENGLISH SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS NEEDED FOR KUWAIT, DOHA, UAE, SAUDI ARABIA
(This is NOT an ESL teaching position)
START DATE: As soon as Possible in January 2020
Develop lesson plans and themes in line with curriculum objectives specific for teaching English to SECONDARY grade levels. Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment. Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counsellors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academic problems.
Attend professional development workshops and educational conferences in order to maintain and improve professional competence. Establish and enforce rules for class management and student behaviour. Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate student progress.
• Bachelor Degree in ENGLISH, LINGUISTICS, LITERATURE, EDUCATION from an accredited University
• MUST HAVE A TEACHING LICENSE-QUALIFICATION for teaching ENGLISH at Secondary level from an accredited university
• Must have excellent English speaking and writing skills
• Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issues
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience for English at SECONDARY grade levels (NOT ESL)
• Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment
Monthly Salary Range:
Competitive TAX FREE Monthly Salary range from ($2500 - $3800 USD) depending on qualifications, years of experience, and which school
Different Schools offer different Housing Arrangements:
Studio apartment is given by some schools for Singles and Married couples (no children)
One bedroom apartment for a married couple in other schools
Health Insurance Coverage:
40% - 100% medical insurance, for employee only (depending on school some dependents can be covered)
Annual Air Ticket:
Return Annual Air Fare for employee only (Some dependents are covered depending on the school)
Relocation air ticket also provided at beginning and end of contract for employee
In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per the country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year

Staff children discount varies depending on school. Details will be provided when you are contacted
Visa and Medical Check Fees:
VISA fees and Medical check done in the country for Residency Visa are paid for by the school for Employee only
End of Service Benefit:
Receive 21 days Basic Salary for each full year of service completed according to Labour Law of the country
Contract Period: 1-2 year contract – renewable
Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage and dependent birth certificates. You will be advised of school requirements
