JOB SUMMARY

At International Medical Group the Inside Sales Associate is called a Sales Service Specialist. The Sales Service Specialist is responsible for answering incoming phone calls, emails, and live chat conversation from producers and prospective customers. They are responsible for marketing and selling the portfolio of products by way of phone transactions while offering a high level of customer service, sales support, and productivity. As a frontline, representative for the company, the Sales Service Specialist focuses on providing sales support to our producers, partners, distributors, and prospective customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Recommends the appropriate IMG product and assisting prospective customers, producers, and distributors with new quotes and application completion via portal

+ Maintain high level of international industry knowledge

+ Thoroughly understand the products and services sold

+ Needs-based selling techniques and skills to appropriately analyze, probe, and identify producer's needs

+ Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information in computer systems

+ Selling producers, distributors, and customers on the benefits of IMG's products and services

+ Build positive relationships with producers, distributors, and customers to ensure continued interest in IMG's products and services

+ Participate in sales meetings as appropriate and provides input for generating sales

+ Updates CRM tools (Salesforce.com) and ensures that call logs and new business opportunities are tracked in CRM

+ Meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of: efficiency, call quality, producer affiliate activations, revenue generated, activation achievements, needs-based selling, and closing

QUALIFICATIONS

+ 2+ years of customer service experience in office setting, call center setting or phone support role.

+ Demonstrated ability in using computer and Windows PC applications, which includes strong keyboard and navigation skills and learning new computer programs

+ Proficient problem-solving approach to quickly assess current state and formulate recommendations

+ Proficient in translating healthcare and insurance-related jargon and complex processes into simple, step-by-step instructions customers and producers can understand and act upon

+ Ability to communicate effectively verbally and by written format (via Live Chats)

+ Proficient conflict management skills to include the ability to resolve issues in a stressful situation and demonstrating personal resilience

+ Flexibility to customize approach to meet all types of customer/producer communication styles and personalities

+ Ability to multi-task, including the ability to navigate multiple computer screens and system programs while speaking on the telephone

+ Ability to develop an understanding of our multiple products and levels of benefits within each product

PREFERRED SKILLS

+ Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred, but not required

+ Bi-lingual, preferred but not required (Mandarin, or Spanish, or French) and fluent in English as well.

+ Health Insurance License

+ Common Insurance Industry experience
