International Cultural Exchange Services (ICES) has been a leader in high school youth exchange for 30 years, advancing international awareness and cultural understanding throughout the United States and the world, one student at a time.
ICES is seeking individuals with a minimum of 2 years’ prior experience in the field of international youth exchange to fill a number of state and regional administrative positions throughout the U.S. for our dynamic program. Full time positions available depending upon experience. The position offers a supplemental stipend with additional income potential and the opportunity to earn incentive trips to different parts of the world.
Candidates must have strong ties to their community and an appreciation of foreign cultures. Responsibilities include the recruiting, hiring and support of local coordinators; leading and managing a team of local coordinators to meet placement goals; screening volunteer host families and submitting all required paperwork; facilitating positive relationships with local schools; and supporting exchange students during their program in the U.S. in cooperation with ICES national staff members.
ICES is a nonprofit organization and maintains a full listing with the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel and is designated by the U.S. Department of State as an official exchange visitor program. ICES students come to the U.S. from Europe, Asia, South America, Australia and the Middle East.
