Distribution Center Swing Shift Supervisor

INTERMOUNTAIN FARMERS ASSOCIATION, a regional agricultural cooperative, is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Distribution Center Swing Shift Supervisor at the IFA Distribution Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure a safe work environment for all associates working in the DC.
• Ensure good communication with the DC management, receiving office, and associates that are being supervised.
• Exemplify integrity, responsibility, and excellence in adhering to all policies with all associates.
• Oversee, assign, and follow through with team members on assignments each working shift.
• Assist the Receiving office in investigation of discrepancies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to work 40 hours a week.
• Reliable-able to be on time for work every assigned shift.
• Organized-time management both personal and with a team of associates
• Able to train and re-train associates that are working with the night crew.
• Able to maintain FIFO with deliveries that are incoming to make sure they are received in the correct order.
• Proficient on all equipment including forklifts: sit-down, reach, order picker.
• Able to problem solve and investigate discrepancies on deliveries that are being received.
• 4-5 years of warehouse experience preferred
• SAP experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and develop leadership skills required
