POSITION SUMMARY

As Intermex grows, we are continually looking for great talent. To help us do that we are looking for a Senior Recruiter in the Los Angeles County area. The Senior Recruiter will drive all aspects of the Company’s Recruiting and Retention activities on the West side of the country. This role will develop and maintain a progressive recruiting brand utilizing all potential avenues expected. Position will be responsible for promoting and fulfilling the mission and vision of Intermex Wire Transfer and to ensure Intermex is a great place to work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruiting and Staffing

  • Work with the HR Department Head and Management team to develop and refine job descriptions for new positions and ensure new positions fit within Intermex’s organizational structure. Assist in developing a brand for use in the recruiting process.

  • Identify, develop, and implement sourcing initiatives that result in sufficient volume of quality talent to meet workforce needs within the respective client groups

  • Create and drive non-traditional, innovative recruitment methods and lead managing sourcing events to insure continuous pipeline to reach passive job seekers and to source hard to fill roles

  • Working together with HR Department Head to ensure that Intermex complies with laws related to the recruitment process.

  • Assisting in upgrading and implementation of referral process.

  • Develop and maintain an applicant tracking system to ensure an adequate pipeline of candidates to fuel company growth.

  • Manage end-to-end recruiting including research, sourcing, candidate assessment & interview management, offer recommendation, negotiation & acceptance

  • Manage hiring manager expectations and develop interview processes that lead to quality hires

  • Pre-screen and develop slate of candidates by conducting initial phone screens; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements and determining next steps

  • Utilize data analytics to drive talent acquisition decisions, recommendations and consultation (i.e. recruitment reporting) as well as to provide predictive analysis to the organization on where we should invest from a recruitment perspective

Onboarding

  • Work with the HR Team hiring manager to draft job offers as appropriate.

  • Coordinate office space and technology planning for new staff.

  • Assist with new hire processing and orientation when needed

  • Upon acceptance of job offer letter; run background screenings on all new-hires.

  • Send out company-wide email introducing new hire

Retention & Training and Development

  • Undertake special projects as designated by the VP of Human Resources.

  • Create and Manage Internship, fellowship, and volunteer programs.

  • Monitor employee experiences to ensure expectations are being met on all sides.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five plus years of Staffing/Recruitment experience, strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization from entry level to Corporate staff, with some exposure in National Recruitment.

  • Associates degree from a recognized college or university, 4 year degree preferred

  • Excellent inter-personal skills, communication skills and team based project experience.

  • Clear understanding of the end to end recruitment lifecycle processes.

  • Must have experience on mapping and sourcing resumes from all sources.

  • Strong vendor manager skills related to recruitment activities such as search firms and job boards.

  • Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office and in depth knowledge of data mining and internet research.

  • Experience in general HR functions is preferred.

  • Strong command of Employment Law, diversity, specifically in areas of recruitment.

  • Bilingual Skills required: English and Spanish verbal communication skills in both languages
