Bistro Line Cook
We are seeking passionate, hardworking cooks that come to us with technical skills and are up for a challenge. A real interest in food is a must. Our team consists of alumni from Meritage a Brasserie, Butcher and the Boar, Restaurant Alma, W.A. Frost, FIKA, Spoon and Stable and many more notable kitchens in the Twin Cities. We are a busy professional restaurant year-round and provide a stable kitchen job with the average tenure of our cooks at 3-5 years. You will be challenged to excel, learn and grow in a stable work environment at ICC.
ICC is opening a summer bistro serving a take on old classics with a focus of fresh, local seasonal ingredients sourced from ICC’s very own garden and local farms. Old classics re-envisioned include steak tartare, moules frites, house ground hamburger, oysters on half shell and from scratch flatbreads.
The bistro cook will be responsible for working alongside the Chef to execute all orders in a timely manner and most importantly making delicious and beautiful food.
The bistro cook will also be involved in helping operate the many pop up concepts that ICC provides year round. Past and current pop up concepts include Tacos and Tequila, Gesino’s Pizza, Burgers and Brews, and BBQ at the Beast. This position offers an experience with a variety of cuisines and kitchen outlets both indoor and outdoor. You will report directly to the Chef and be expected to have a strong culinary background. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with research and development and to provide ICC membership with a unique experience.
