Position Preview
The Government Sales Representative will be responsible for the development of new business within the DC Metropolitan and Baltimore regions. The Sales Rep will be the client's key contact for all business transactions, and they will work with a team to secure both product and service contracts, assist with strategic and tactical issues, and to provide a leadership role on all major new business initiatives.

Position Qualifications
  • 3+ years outside FF&E sales experience
  • Selling directly DIRTT products to Gov't, Healthcare, Higher-Ed and Corporate commercial clients for interior work place projects of all scope and scale
  • Experience selling contract furniture and/or related services to commercial facilities for interiors purposes (preferred)
  • Strong relationships with the A&D, General Contractor and Broker communities
  • Skilled in managing all aspects of business utilizing effective time management techniques
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere ensuring efficiency of projects from start to finish
  • Able to read and understand AutoCAD interior floor plans and other related technical drawings
  • Ability to deal with highly complex sales issues and/or projects
  • Must be persistent, responsive, flexible, fun, intelligent, competitive, proactive, confident and detail oriented
  • BS/BA Degree required

Compensation and Benefits
Depends on experience and certifications.
  • Salary Base Range: $60,000 - $70,000
