Job Description
Position Overview:

This position is responsible for data entry, quality assurance, reporting, analysis, and visualization. Primary responsibilities include compiling and submitting data related to contracts, maintaining monthly and quarterly reports, supporting QA audits, and facilitating qualitative and quantitative data collection. This position works within the Program Strategy and Evaluation team in order to support data needs across all of company's programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain QA protocols for data in the electronic health record system and other key databases
  • Provide data analysis examining differences in outcomes by program dosage, demographics, number of services accessed, among other factors
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports to track trends in risk behavior, frequency in HIV testing, number of new HIV diagnoses, and to ensure contractual requirements are met
  • Examining trends over time for key program outcomes and service utilization
  • Demonstrate rigor with data privacy standards
  • Provide administrative data functions including updating forms, data entry, QA procedures, and survey delivery/analysis
  • Build out data visualizations for monthly, quarterly, and other reporting needs

Essential Qualifications:
  • Software Skills: General computer knowledge required. Microsoft Office experience required. Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • QA and Data Management: Extensive experience in protocols for ensuring data quality and managing multiple databases. Experience working in electronic health records systems.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Knowledge of Tableau or Power BI preferred but not required.
  • Analysis: basic knowledge of reporting descriptive data, trends, and crosstabs of key data. Knowledge of statistical software or languages such as R or Python preferred but not required.


Physical Requirements and Work Environments:

Skill in operating equipment such as a personal computer, copy machine and telephone system. Ability to perform routine bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching. Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree and 1-2 years of experience with data quality, management, and analysis; or bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience
  • 2 or more years' experience with electronic health records systems preferred
  • Comfort working with diverse populations including gay men and other MSM, substance users, transgender, and/or unhoused populations.
