Inter-Con is looking for talented individuals to serve as Health Screeners to help secure our nation’s food supply chain. Screeners will be expected to operate both mobile and stationary thermal screening equipment at facility access points to ensure all client employees and visitors are healthy before entering. Should any individual employee exhibit measurable signs of elevated temperature, the Screener will then administer a follow-up test. Any employees who fail both tests will be asked to return home. Screeners will be provided PPE and proper training to optimize their safety.
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Possess courteous behavior and ability to interact and manage contact with the general public.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- First Aid, CPR, AED is a plus
- Ability to use stationary and mobile temperature scanning equipment
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to empathize with others and communicate during stressful situations
Work Environment and Schedule
- Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.
- Open availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays and overtime as directed (overtime occurs).
- Work various shifts and Holidays as assigned.
