Job Description


This job is a member of the Compensation Team within the People/HR Division. Responsible for assisting in the design, development and implementation of Compensation policies, structures, and practices.

What you'll do
• Acts as a resource to all levels of management and other Human Resources employees regarding salaries for new hires, promotions, transfers, compensation analysis, and issue resolution
• Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in your organization, ensuring descriptions accuracy for the work being performed by team member
• Creates/maintains job codes, and writes and edits job descriptions as needed
• Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range
• Assists with market pricing and performs benchmark analyses to determine Company's competitiveness in the marketplace
• Provides data reports and analyses to leaders on an ad-hoc basis
• Develops and documents procedures to streamline processes and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintains various personnel databases
• Performs other related duties as assigned
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience/training
• 1-2 years experience as a Compensation Analyst is required

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Experience with job evaluations and conducting salary analyses
Work experience in analytical role
Advanced Excel skills

Skills, Licenses & Certifications
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and objectivity
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel**, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to apply appropriate judgment and discretion in completing work assignments to ensure confidentiality of employee compensation data
• Ability to prioritize tasks and provide strong customer service
• Detail-oriented with ability to work in fast-paced environment

Language/Communication Skills/Physical Abilities
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
• Physical ability necessary to perform the essential functions of the position safely and successfully, with or without any legally required reasonable accommodations that do not pose an undue hardship.
