This role resides within the Loyalty & Personalization team within the Client’s Front Store Merchandising, supporting the ExtraCare Portal and Consumer Insights. This person will help leverage the Client’s many Front Store data assets (point of sale, customer, promotional performance, financial) to uncover new business opportunities or risks and answer key strategic questions about the customer. The ExtraCare Insights Portal is critical to providing users the analytics to understand customer behavior and how to improve customer engagement. This position reports to the Manager of ExtraCare Consumer Insights. The successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task several workstreams, quickly assemble data and generate impactful insights in a dynamic environment working with senior leadership and various internal and external stakeholders. In addition, this person plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing the ExtraCare Portal, with 300+ users. This person needs to be able to bridge the business perspective (key questions, actionable insights) with the technical (coding, large data set manipulation).


Manage the processes for training, user setup/access and maintenance, system testing and communications to the user community. ∙ Identify and develop operational efficiencies as it relates reporting ∙ Identify and collaborate on improved visualization of reports and data ∙ Translate business questions and hypotheses into analyses using large data sets using an organized approach that will determine business implications and leverage appropriate insights in a variety of formats including reports, PowerPoint, and the visualization of data and findings, to formulate recommendations ∙ Participate in collaborative discussions, enable data-driven strategic decision-making, identify opportunities for existing process improvement ∙ Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to define requirements, gather and analyze needs, provide strategic and analytical recommendations ∙ All previous requirements of the Coordinator III position remain: Manage the administrative aspects and documentation of development activities & priorities related to product improvement of the ExtraCare Insights Portal, keeping all appropriate stakeholders aware of timing and implications. Collaborate across and outside of the organization with users of the insights to understand their various needs and incorporate these into the ExtraCare Insights Portal vision and roadmap for capabilities. Work with IT and 3rd parties to document/maintain the ExtraCare Insights Portal roadmap in order to ensure delivery of high quality and on-time improvements to the Insights Portal. Support administrative activities related to the execution of annual supplier contracts

Required Skills:

Basic understanding of database, reporting and web technologies and capabilities ∙ Analytical mindset with detail orientation ∙ Ability to multi-task several concurrent requests ∙ Strong communications: ability to concisely communicate analytical findings in both verbal and written form to both technical and business partners ∙ Structured and logical thinking: the ability to dissect a problem into an organized approach and quickly form a hypothesis against which to run test analysis; ability to multi-task several concurrent requests and quickly pull together data and generate impactful insights ∙ Experience with MS Office tools

Education: Communications, Marketing or similar bachelor’s degree

  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Payrate: $25.00
  • Employment Type: Contract
