Title: Digital Marketing Manager

Reports to: Marketing Director

Department: Marketing

Position Type: Full time - Exempt

Location: Framingham, MA

About The Role

The Digital Marketing Manager designs and implements integrated marketing programs aligned with the overall marketing and communications objectives of the business. The successful candidate will consult with the Marketing, and the Retail Teams to ensure all programs appropriately integrate digital marketing tactics that provide a seamless end-to-end customer experience. This role will primarily drive Temescal Wellness campaigns and qualified candidates will be fluent in today’s digital marketing ecosystem including but not limited to CRM, Marketing Automation, Email, Media Planning & Social. This role will report to the Marketing Director, with a strong connection to our retail teams and agency partners.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Lead a customer-centric digital strategy and influence a customer-first mindset.

  • Engage in persona development and journey mapping exercises with cross-functional teams and support tactical integrated communication plans that align with the customer journey.

  • In Depth knowledge of digital tactics including SEO, SEM, Programmatic Advertising, Social Media and Email Marketing.

  • Partner with external agencies as needed for social media, website development and digital advertising.

  • Manage the digital projects from Strategy to execution, including in-store advertising, menus, crm, email marketing, sms marketing, and third party review sites.

  • Develop comprehensive digital plans for awareness, store visits and retention campaigns with measurable objectives.

  • Develop a strong understanding of our customers, their attitudes and behaviors to provide segmentation and personalization strategies and tactics.

  • Leverage analytic resources and partner with our retail sales team to show the value of campaigns and provide a regular cadence of reports for campaigns.

  • Build, activate and manage cross-functional relationships with retail, production, operations, compliance, agencies, and others as needed.

  • Play a thought-leader role by sharing knowledge and best practices with both internal and external teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of overall marketing and communications experience, with 1 to 2 years driving customers through a digital decision journey in a B2C environment, ideally with a drive to brick and mortar retail.

  • Candidates must have experience in SEM & SEO, digital advertising (including programmatic advertising), social media, reputation management, and email marketing.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and presentation skills and the ability to manage multiple programs at once and effectively prioritize work are essential.

  • User experience and content strategy understanding is a plus.

  • Experience with content creation, videography, photography, editing preferred.

  • Knowledge of HTML and content management systems preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Marketing or related experience

  • Ability to thrive and effectively manage time in a challenging start-up environment: being adaptable to regulatory changes, building team rapport, disciplined adoption of standard operating procedures, identifying inefficiencies and contributing to the continuous improvement of operations.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

  2. Bend and stoop to grasp objects, bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat

  3. Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds

  4. Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation

  5. Proficiency in full Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite; Adobe Creative Suite a plus

Due to the initial start-up phase of Temescal Wellness MA and the dynamic nature of the medical cannabis industry, this position may be asked to perform other functions not outlined in this job description.
