If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work in Kalamazoo as Program Supervisor of Outpatient Therapy/Case Management!
What You Will Be Doing
Working as a Supervisor for our Outpatient Therapy and Case Management programs, monitoring and providing limited services to assure excellence in services for youth with Severe Emotional Disturbance and their families. You will provide supervision for both teams as well as limited direct service. Duties may include assuring high quality intake assessments, outpatient counseling, and case management services to youth and families, coordination and assignment of services to a variety of consumers within the system of care. Position also is responsible for a variety of documentation reviews each day, crisis consultation, and a high degree of coordination with other treatment teams.
What We Require
You should have previous experience working with persons of diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, demonstrate a high degree of clinical skills, demonstrate methodical problem solving, and be able to work in an often stressful, fast-paced work environment. Licensed Masters of Social Work (LMSW), Licensed Psychologist (LP), Limited License Psychologist (LLP) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a minimum of five years experience working with youth with serious emotional disturbance and their families is required. Two years administrative and supervisory experience in a mental health setting is preferred. A valid Michigan Motor Vehicle Operator’s license is required. Refined skills and experience working with electronic health records and excel/outlook is needed.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Physical Efforts – Job demands include prolonged sitting and standing as appropriate. May occasionally require light lifting up to 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or bending as appropriate. Requires coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot.
Working Conditions – Office environment with noise from computers, copy machine, and telephones. Use of computer screen for periods in excess of 30 minutes at a time. Possible eyestrain from extended periods of viewing computer screen. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and parasites. Travel throughout the Kalamazoo area is required.
