Job Title: Process Engineer - II (Associate) 
Job Location: Wilson, NC 
Job Duration: 6 Months 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or related field 
  • 1-3 years strong technical writing/documentation experience 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.) 
  • Experience Veeva QualityDocs 
  • SAP experience 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences 
  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Experience with Task Breakdown Sheets, Job Instructions or Analysis, Work Combination table or Training Within Industry experience (TWI) History of/experience with training groups/classes

Responsibilities:
The Wilson, NC Sterile Vaccines Maintenance and Operations Team is seeking a Technical Writer whom will be responsible for creating technical documents and procedures that explain complex information in a clear and concise manner. This resource will also work with subject matter experts and technical staff to ensure accuracy of document descriptions. You will be part of a team that will organize/base work off of a Master spreadsheet of documents that is sorted by priority milestones. You will be working with SME's/engineers to write SOP's and work instructions that are tied into training curriculums. You will start with a manual to familiarize yourself and quickly move in to first/initial qualifications on equipment, redlining drafts. The role will be broken down into two parts; Phase 1 - SOP Phase and Phase 2 – Investigation, root cause investigation (what went wrong and why), problem solving.  
Primary job responsibilities include:  
  • Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and documents – SOP’s 
  • Convert documents into the correct formats 
  • Technical writing 
  • Review workload/due dates = prioritization 
  • Reviewing documents from other sites 
  • Will interact with Coaches, mechanics and some line leads, technology and quality group on daily basis 
  • Field walk throughs to observe process to write about opportunities for development 
  • Determine the needs of users of process documentation 
  • Root cause investigation – What went wrong and why 
  • Analyse documents to maintain continuity of style of content 
  • Manage updates and revisions to technical literature 
  • Write and organize supporting content for production, lab or office processes 
  • Work with staff to make process documentation easier to use, geared toward all audiences/simplified instructions written and verbal 
  • Based in Wilson, NC – Nearest large city Raleigh/Durham about 40-45 minutes. 
  • 85-90% ON-SITE 
  • May be OT (overtime) 
  • 6-month position w/ possible extension
