IPM partners with clients across the life sciences industry sectors, including pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and biotechnology which includes large-molecule proteins, monoclonal antibodies, cell, tissue, and genetic therapies, and molecularly engineered vaccines.
- Within each sector we lead, at the core team level, product development projects including pre-clinical R&D through commercialization, including planning for regulatory, clinical, and commercial strategies and processes, and product lifecycle management.
- Within each sector we lead the creation or improvement of operational processes including harmonizing regulatory and quality systems and building project, program and portfolio management capabilities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Associate Consultant supports the planning, scheduling, monitoring, controlling, analytical and other tactical aspects of projects, or manages straightforward projects or sub-projects with more autonomy, as assigned. As an Associate Consultant, he/she works closely with the project manager and project team to ensure detailed planning of activities, comprehensive documentation of critical project information, and sound decision making through thorough analysis of information.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Support development of project plans and schedules that represent the appropriate level of detail and task interdependency.
- Compile and analyze data and develop summary reports/presentations.
- Support development of project budgets and update, as required. Develop summary reports and analysis suitable for PMC review.
- Research appropriate technologies and apply technical knowledge to ensure effective delivery of project requirements.
- Manage straightforward projects or sub-projects with appropriate support of a project manager or Director, including conducting initiating, planning, monitoring, controlling, and closing the project in conjunction with the client team.
- Produce and present clear, concise, and professionally written communications.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and data analysis capabilities.
- Ability to multitask and juggle competing priorities.
- Strong technical aptitude and displayed ability to grasp a general knowledge of multiple disciplines and technologies.
- Strong leadership potential.
- Professional and effective written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in core Microsoft software products (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project) and a strong aptitude for learning new software products. Visio proficiency preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a science or relatable field
- 2+ years of related experience in the life sciences industry
