Quality Control Operator

Position Title: Production Operator I (QA)

Reports To: QA Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY 

Using microscope to perform visual inspection of Integrated Circuit units of dies and assembled units. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INLCUDE

• Use microscope to perform visual inspection of Integrated Circuit units of dies and assembled units
• Familiar with AQL sampling and criteria for accept and reject of semiconductor IC units
• Comply with safety conditions and priorities
• Count and verify production lot quantities versus existing computer entries and paperwork
• Learn how to operate equipment in order to perform job functions adequately
• Communicate any repeatable QC findings to QC manager 
• Willing to work overtime as needed
• Able to work in a fast pace environment and repetitive work load
• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Higher level of education is a plus. 

Experience: 

• Minimum of two years’ experience in semiconductor. 
• Minimum of two years’ experience using a microscope. 

Knowledge/Skills:  

• Effectively communicate with internal and external customers.   
• Effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Office and other computer products and programs
• Self-motivated with excellent customer service, teambuilding, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, delays or shift in priorities.
• Manage competing demands; change approach or method to best fit the situation. 
• Ability to remain flexible, dependent on the needs of the customer.
• Able to work with deadlines and complex customer requirements of handling and inspection of their units.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. at any given time.
• Basic Math skills and ability to learn company computer system.
