IMCC is seeking anEarly Stage Program Coordinator - Sterling will be responsible for the development and implementation of the day to day activities of participants in our early stage programs to help meet their psychosocial and cognitive needs.The Early Stage Program Coordinator will be responsible for initial and ongoing assessments to determine appropriateness of individuals for early stage programming, assess the individual and group needs of the participants, research, plan, develop and implement quality early stage engagement programs.The Early Stage Program Coordinator will also be responsible for conducting initial interviews, cognitive assessments, admission paperwork, and communicating with early stage participants, care partners, and responsible parties.Finally, the Early Stage Program Coordinator is also responsible for managing and maintaining budgeted census for Reconnections Sterling as well as assisting with marketing efforts for the early stage programs of IMCC, which could include: public speaking engagements, program overviews, demonstrations, open houses, etc.


The Early Stage Program Coordinator - Sterling will directly supervise the Early Stage Activity Assistant and volunteers, and will need to work with minimal supervision.This position reports to the Director of Early-Stage Programs.


Qualifications/Skills


Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Music, Art, or Speech Therapy (or related field), or equivalent work experience.


Current certification as CTRS, Music Therapist, Art Therapist, Activity Professional, or SLP required.


Experience in working with individuals with dementia preferred but will train the right candidate.


Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.


Ability to work independently required.
