IT Preventative Maintenance Engineer

Position Description:

The qualified candidate is self-motivated and able to lead and work independently on simple and complex technical networks. Primary responsibility for this position are to review current client infastructure and licensing, including but not limited to: Microsoft, VMware, Cisco/Meraki and all things Cloud. Work performed will include SMB and enterprise networks including: Cisco routing/switching/security, VMware cluster & storage, Wireless technologies, Microsoft Windows Server OS, Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure deployment & support, and Microsoft Office 365. Some project management responsibilities will also be required.

Position requirements:

InsITe Business Solutions prides itself on our ability to focus on preventative work instead of reactive. This position will be responsible for reviewing clients inside and out including, patching (software+firmware), suggesting repairs and replacements, and reporting for clients on their company. An ideal candidate will come with a desire to tinker, discover, and recommend opportunities for improvement in SMB and Enterprise clients.

A qualified candidate must have minimum 3-5 years experience in systems administration, and must be eager to work directly with our clients, must be self-motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills, practice detailed documentation. Windows System Administration experience is a requirement. Certifications are also strongly preferred including A+, Net+, MCP/MCSE/MCSA, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP or other applicable industry certifications.
