ICMS is seeking a Senior Program Manager (Logistics) to support the Department of Homeland Security to perform Logistics and Warehousing Support. Twelve (12) years of recent and progressive management experience in government contracts is required. At least five (5) of the twelve (12) years of required work experience shall have been in equivalent supervisory/leadership role. Department of Homeland Security experience is highly desired.

Description of Work: The Senior Manager shall have the primary responsibility for managing and supervising all contractor personnel assigned to perform work under this contract. In concert and consultation with the Government, the Senior Manager serves as the principal facilitator of business activities between the Government and the Contractor and fosters an autonomous influence over contractual services and quality controls for performance of work. The Senior Manager shall provide senior level support and assistance in coordination and oversight of logistics program projects, operational activities, and administrative support services rendered customers in performance of contractual duties and responsibilities.
Position Requirements: This position requires expertise in management of personnel and a broad range of organizational programs, administering operational programs/functions, contract compliance and oversight, quality technical leadership, and customer service/support activities.
Education Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, management information systems, finance, accounting, management, or related field is required.
Work Experience Requirements: This position requires a minimum of twelve (12) years of recent and progressive management experience in government contracts similar in size and complexity; experience developing, managing, executing tasks, applying analytical methodologies, providing technical guidance and program direction to project staff and allocating project resources effectively; and must have experience working as an effective liaison with government personnel and other contracting staff members. If a candidate has a bachelor’s degree, the number of years of work experience required is eight (8) years. At least five (5) of the twelve (12) or (8) eight years of required work experience shall have been in equivalent supervisory/leadership role. Additional Required Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to read and interpret Federal policy, regulations, and directives and to apply those interpretations fully and legally to all activities.
Knowledge and skill in the application of a broad range of current and developing business management theories, principles, practices, techniques, guidelines, concepts pertaining to the logistics, supply, and property management program and relationships, and depth in at least one of the fields of logistics operations or administrative services support programs.
Must be able to pass a government background check prior to starting work
