Project Manager/Supervisor (Logistics)

ICMS is seeking a Project Manager/Supervisor (Logistics) to support the Department of Homeland Security to perform Logistics and Warehousing Support. 

Ten (10) years of recent and progressive management experience in government contracts is required. At least four (4) of the ten (10) years of required work experience shall have been in equivalent supervisory/leadership role. Department of Homeland Security experience is highly desired. 

Estimated start date: 1/2023 

Description of Work: Serves as the central point of contact for customers and shall be responsible for the immediate supervision of all contractor personnel and assigns the work to be conducted for the logistical operations and administrative support services. 

Education Requirements: The Project Manager/Supervisor shall have an Associate Degree or at least 24 semester hours from an accredited college or university among in one of the following disciplines: Accounting, Financial Management, Business, Administration, Management, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Quantitative Methods, Organization or Management. 

Work Experience Requirements: The Project Manager/Supervisor shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of recent and progressive experience in conducting program management and performing support services activities. At least four (4) of the ten (10) years of work experience shall have been in an equivalent supervisory/leadership role. Additional Required Knowledge and Skills: 

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. 

• Ability to read, interpret, and apply Federal policy, directives, and regulations. 

• Ability to provide clear leadership, technical direction, and guidance to lower-level contractor personnel. 

• Knowledge of administrative management functions such as personnel, budget, contracting, procurement, supplies, equipment, facilities, property management, office support services, etc. 

• Skill in planning and organizing work in an effective and efficient manner. 

• Must be able to pass a government background check prior to starting work
