Key Responsibilities - Customer Service Representative-FirstEnergy/Mon Power

After completing 6-8 weeks of paid training you will be comfortable with:

  • Answering incoming calls – no sales or telemarketing
  • Addressing questions or concerns from new or existing customers
  • Resolving customer problems
  • Talking with people who have expressed interest in becoming a Mon Power/FirstEnergy customer

Required Skills and Knowledge - Customer Service Representative-FirstEnergy/Mon Power
  • Two years of customer service or related experience – includes clerical and retail work
  • Ability to multi-task with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Upbeat attitude with a motivation to continually learn and grow
  • A passion for customer service
Education and Experience - Customer Service Representative-FirstEnergy/Mon Power
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Currently hold a High School diploma or equivalent
Benefits and Pay - Customer Service Representative-FirstEnergy/Mon Power
  • Base salary of $12.50 per hour, with an increase to $16.96 per hour after conversion (6 - 9 months)
  • Overtime opportunities available if interested
