We manufacture the largest metal removal, automated composite placement, and 3D printing machines in the world.We are seeking a creative, driven, and highly motivated CompositeApplication Engineerto join our team!Summary:The Composite Application Engineer is responsible for the process development and product support of various applications of Ingersolls composite manufacturing machine tools. All activities are required to develop optimized processes, produce accurate cycle time for sales proposals, train customers, and assist in composite.Responsibilities: Reviews and analyzes customer part manufacturing requirements Develops and optimizes complete manufacturing processes Tests alternative techniques and manufacturing processes; Recommends changes in procedures, equipment, or practices as needed Provides training to internal and customer personnel Ability to follow a project from proposal to installation Produces technical reports for customer and internal use Visits customer facilities to support the introduction of systems into production Visits customer facilities to identify and resolve processing problems; doing so potentially under pressure and on short notice Maintains regular and predictable attendance Has the ability to work overtime and/or on off-shifts as required by business needsQualifications & Experience: CAD experience: preferably CATIA, SolidWorks, or ProE Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ambitious self-learner with efficient time-management skills Ability to travel in the USA and abroad for extended periods Ability to instill customer confidence in Ingersolls competency and reliability Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) Must maintain professional appearance and behavior Preferred Working knowledge of computer programming: preferably VB/VBA, C/C++, PythonEducation: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent technical backgroundPhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift 15 pounds at timesBenefits: * Holidays (9 per year) Sick/personal leave Health/Dental/Vision insurance 401(k) HSA and Flexible Spending Account Short- and Long-Term Disability Life insurance Tuition ProgramTo all recruitment agencies:Ingersoll Machine Tools, Inc.
