Job Description

This person will be running the day to day operations of our all North America virtual Design onboarding program, Design Camp.  They will partner with our coordinator for Europe Design Camp.  Design Camp runs ever 2 weeks from Wed morning - Friday afternoon PT usually with 60-90 people per cohort.

Responsibilities

• Email participants the week prior with instructions. Respond to questions from managers and participants.
• Be available to support participants via chat during the full 3 day program – answering questions, help them navigate systems, troubleshoot issues.
• Support presenters (all volunteers of the community) to make sure they know what class to attend and when.
• Confirm presenters are available and notify management when presenter pool is getting low.
• Create and send presenter feedback after each class.
• Work with the LMS admin to ensure each participant gets the right set of invites.
• Present the welcome session! A 45 min session to introduce the program.
• Maintain documentation of participants & presenters for quarterly metrics read out.

Must Haves

• Energy! First impressions are important and this is an employees first impression of Meta!
• Empathy to answer the same questions week after week!  New hires need support!
• A can do attitude.
• Be ok with repetitive tasks.  You will repeat the same task every other week.
• Detail orientated.  You will work in many spreadsheets to organize participant data.

Top 3 must-have HARD skills:

• Detail orientated – spreadsheets galore, not missing emails etc.
• Confidence talking in front of large groups of people.
• Great written and oral communication
