Position: Operations Support/Clerical Generalist
Location: Corvallis, OR 97330
Contract: 11 weeks
Shift: Days (0800-1430) no weekends
Performs a variety of on-premises tasks in support of health plan members and organizational needs. Utilizes a positive, empathetic, and culturally responsive approach to welcoming member and nonmember visitors to a health system front desk. Performs routine, timely and accurate clerical and administrative functions to support health plan members and staff. Works with all levels in the organization to facilitate communication and effectively document related activities.
- Experience in reception or customer services required.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems required.
- Experience and/or training with computer applications required.
Technical Job Duties:
1. Support Services - coordinate a wide range of general office duties in support of organizational need.
a. Operator call coverage as assigned
b. Assists with data entry and validation initiatives
c. Routine order of office supplies and toner
d. Maintains visitor logs and badges
e. Provide logistical support for on-site events
f. Use and maintain role related SharePoint tracking lists and document libraries
g. Facilitate pick up/return of office supplies and computer equipment for remote staff
h. Collaborate with SHS Corporate Facilities on space management, security, and site-based emergency planning
i. Actively maintains lobby, break room and member rooms environment, focusing on cleanliness, organization and availability of appropriate literature or signage
2. Visitor Services provide empathetic, timely and culturally responsive solution-oriented service
a. Welcome health plan members and nonmember visitors to the building, provide direct assistance or triages to responsive staff as appropriate
b. Processes member premium payments using cash, debit/credit, or check
c. Maintains balance in cash till
d. Prints a variety of on-demand member reports upon member request
e. Prints, explains, and guides members when filling out health plans forms
f. Receives, stamps, scans and forwards member forms or documents to appropriate department
g. Document member and visitor interactions in appropriate systems
h. Assists Customer Service with on-site or telephonic member service
