Who you are

We are looking for a detail-obsessed Workday Analyst with experience with the configuration and maintenance of large-scale HRIS (Workday). The right person will be systems and process minded, with an exceptional ability to think critically and drive improvement. 

What you'll do

The Workday HRIS Analyst role is a vital addition to the People Operations Team. We're looking for an experienced Workday HRIS Analyst to partner with the HRIS Technical Project Manager in owning and maintaining all Workday modules and Workday Integrations throughout the implementation, stabilization, and optimization phases. 

You will play a critical role in planning, developing, implementing, and administering HR systems that support our exciting growth objectives. You will have the opportunity to evaluate people programs, trends, innovative technologies and recommend changes/enhancements based on findings. 

We will look for your expertise in people technology solutions and automation. You will play a significant role in simplifying and integrating people systems, automating workflows, building dashboards, and creating a seamless user experience for the Industrious team.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Support all aspects of the Workday implementation throughout the lifecycle of the project and serve as a Workday HRIS SME
  • Ensure that Workday systems meets all compliance requirements for data system security and privacy
  • Provide day-to-day system support, including resolution of all system-related issues
  • Assist with gathering requirements from subject matter experts within People Operations and other parts of the business. Translates business needs into functional and technical requirements
  • Support Stakeholders in implementing solutions and coordinating activities related to system enhancements, including end-to-end and user acceptance testing
  • Partner with the HRIS Project Manager to administer, configure and maintain Workday modules, including: HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Advanced Compensation, Talent Management, LMS, and Integrations
  • Develop, document and maintain system admin procedures and employee resource guides
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve open HR support tickets related to domestic and global HR technology 
  • Ensure data integrity by conducting audits and testing as needed
  • Support Workday feature release updates and enhancements
  • Act as the key relationship owner with Workday, systems support partner and 3rd party system vendors
  • Advanced use of People systems and constant technological curiosity to assist with automation – you strive to simplify across People technology
  • Have strong understand of HR processes (Highly desirable)


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience enough to perform the key accountabilities of the job required
  • 4-6 years of super-admin experience with Workday HRIS Implementation, Integrations, and Modules, such as: HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Advanced Compensation, Talent Management, LMS, Integrations, and Report Writer (Workday Certification highly preferred)
  • Advanced use of People systems and constant technological curiosity to assist with automation – you strive to simplify across People technology
  • Strong foundational understanding of HR best practices & ability to understand key HR concepts
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretely handle sensitive and confidential information
