The Indiana University Foundation seeks highly motivated applicants for the Custodian position. Responsibilities for the Custodian include cleaning offices, restrooms, common areas, windows, stairs, and other building areas. In addition, this position will assist with grounds maintenance by cleaning sidewalks and grounds adjacent to our buildings and helping with special projects, events, and other duties as assigned.

This full time position will work 40 hours per week, and the primary shift for this position will be Monday through Thursday from 4:30 pm – 1:30 am, and Friday from 11:00 am – 8:00 pm. Other shifts may require coverage for vacations and leaves of absence.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma required

A positive, team oriented attitude is required

Experience in general maintenance and custodial duties required

Physical Demands

Lifting up to 55 lbs.

Bending, pushing, pulling, crouching, and stair climbing

Working in all weather conditions outdoors
