Engineering Program Manager - Complex RF Systems and Equipment My Client, a global designer and manufacturer of electronic power conversion products, is looking for an Engineering Program Manager who is a self-motivated professional that thrives in fast paced dynamic environment. In this position. you will be joining a creative and driven RF Product Development team where employees collaborate and strive for excellence in ways that have made this company a leader in critical power supply systems. Position Summary The Engineering Program Manager will create, manage and drive the detailed planning and execution of new products and product enhancements to deliver products on time, within budget and in scope.
The qualified candidate must be familiar with complex electrical/RF equipment and have a track record successful project management of projects involving multi-disciplinary cross functional teams from inception through release. The successful Engineering Program Manager candidate will have a track record of a project planning, leadership, organizing, communicating and problem solving. The candidate will also bring unique skills in leadership, analysis, critical thinking, resource, and risk management. Key Responsibilities • Create project plans and manage programs from inception through production release. • Ensure that plans are carried out in accordance with the specified objectives and Corporate standards for Product Development. • Direct and coordinate program activities with cross functional team and assist personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of program to hit agreed upon milestones. • Oversight of Design Engineering and Engineering Services Group • Work with manufacturing and sourcing to ensure all commitments are met for all pre-release development needs (prototypes, development builds, etc.). • Follow up with all internal departments on any outstanding issues and see them to completion. • Cost and spend tracking, BOM cost management. • Work with multiple factory locations for product and subassembly release and ramp. • Other duties may be assigned. Key Qualifications And Skills - BS degree required, 5+ years of project or program management experience, PMP certification preferred. - Track record of successfully managing complex electronic equipment development projects from inception to product release. - Ability to work with technical leads and other cross-functional team members on programs to develop and execute project plans. - Hands-on management of project plans, risk registers, action lists and stage-gate project files. - Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects. - Track record in resource allocation and oversight of engineering and engineering services. - Strong analytical skills and experience in risk mitigation/management. - Strong written and verbal communications skills.
