JOB TITLE: Associate Creative Director

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: SVP, Creative/Executive Creative Director

EXEMPTION STATUS: EXEMPT

JOB SUMMARY: The Associate Creative Director is responsible for the creative process on smaller-scale projects and proposals. The Associate Creative Director works with Director or VP, Client Services and Producers to take client input, define project goals, content and messaging and overall look and feel and participates in the selection and direction of all creative resources assigned to these projects. This position also supports Creative Directors to strategize an approach to their projects within a larger account and on larger scale business.

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities include:

Proposal Process
  • Collaborate with the Director Client Services, VP, Client Services and Producer to review client background, project requirements and client expectations and determine project scope, project objectives and sales strategy
  • Participate in any client input sessions and follow up meetings with the client
  • Collaborate with the Director Client Services, VP, Client Services and Producer to select the appropriate creative resources to work on the proposal
  • Lead the proposal team through the brainstorming and creative development process
  • Review creative approach with supervising Creative Director/Manager
  • Collaborate with Director Client Services, VP, Client Services and Producer to align creative design with budget and logistical constraints
  • Oversee the production of all creative components of the proposal
  • Provide the proposal team with all pertinent client and project information
  • Lead presentation of creative concepts to the client

Production Process
  • Collaborate with Director Client Services, VP, Client Services and Producer to ensure complete understanding of creative direction, deliverables, project requirements and client expectations
  • Collaborate with the Director Client Services, VP, Client Services and Producer to suggest appropriate creative resources to work on the project
  • Work directly with client and production to ensure that creative remains on target and consistent throughout production of all deliverables
  • Participate in on-site rehearsals, serving as content and creative consultant to client when appropriate
  • Ensure all video and media deliverables are checked for quality and creative consistency prior to delivery to client


Post Production Process
  • Participate in post-project review with production and account teams and Manager
  • Participate in post-project review with Client

Office Responsibilities
  • Work with Marketing to assist in the creation of marketing materials and programs that reflect InVision's vision and style
  • Present to clients and prospects to promote InVision's commitment to superior creative, strategic development and delivery
  • Complete and submit time sheets and expenses prior to communicated deadlines
  • Special projects as assigned by SVP, Creative/ Executive Creative Director

HOURS: The normal working hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. (40 hours a week), however due to the nature and the scope of the position hours may be flexible.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to perform job duties that may include an average amount of lifting (+ or - 25lbs.), sitting, bending, stooping and standing is required. COVID-19 Vaccination is required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate travel is associated with this position. Travel for InVision related business is reimbursable at the amount allotted under state & federal guidelines.An expense sheet must be submitted for reimbursement.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: This position requires a minimum of three (3) years of marketing communication creative experience or related field. Prior management experience also needed.

SALARY: The salary range for this role is from $65,000.00 to $100,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, which if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for benefits including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
