Company Summary
For over 20 years, InOvate Technologies, Inc. has focused on improving exhaust performance for residential clothes dryers. Originating with the Dryerbox®, a transition duct receptacle that saves space and protects against crushed hoses, the South Florida-based company has a track record of patenting and licensing unique solutions that solve common dryer venting problems. InOvate’s success has been rooted in the company’s ability to market directly to builders, architects, engineers, and contractors and pull those sales through over 2,500 HVAC supply houses nationwide. Other avenues of channel sales include big box retail, roofing/building suppliers, and a network of home service professionals.
Since 2019, InOvate is managed through the Riverbend Industries (RBI) portfolio. RBI is a private family-owned portfolio holding company headquartered in Chicago, IL. The portfolio is primarily comprised of several small, independently operated, previously family-run businesses in the light manufacturing and distribution sectors. The portfolio is a long-term holder of its investments/assets and plans to grow both organically and through acquisitions into the foreseeable future.
Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is a professional who will organize and help align all marketing activities and initiatives across the organization, assisting the Vice President of Marketing in tasks to help meet aggressive revenue growth goals. This individual will develop a keen understanding of all customer, product positioning, and branding strategy information. Keys to success will be solid organizational skills, excellent communication skills, having a good combination of analytical and creative capacity as well as an enthusiasm for learning and growing. The Marketing Coordinator will be a positive contributor to the team across multiple disciplines including creative writing, graphic design, strategy, html/CSS/JavaScript, SEO analytics/research, project management, and more. InOvate is looking for a team player with ambition to be a future marketing rockstar.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage an inventory and directory of collateral material making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed
- Plan and manage trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings by identifying, coordinating, and assembling requirements, and developing assignments and schedules
- Gather and organize key media comparative information and track media investments including strategic timing as well as performance
- Assist in management of e-commerce assets, internal and partner, including Amazon brand management, platform content updates, analysis, and reporting
- Develop new content for key promotional campaigns across various media platforms
- Monitor social media footprint, contributing content and moderation and deciding best path forward for shaping conversations for a positive outcome
- Develop comprehensive social media plan, content, and content calendars
- Attend key events to capture customer / product research and provide sales team recommendations
- Support the Vice President of Marketing in establishing and evaluating a marketing strategy and plan by analyzing and assembling sales forecasts, updating calendars, and organizing and planning promotional presentations
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications
- Approve and edit all marketing material including fact, grammar, and spell checking
- Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Minimum
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years of business experience
Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or advertising
- 3 years of experience working in a marketing team
- 3 years working with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- 3 years of SEO / Social Media experience
- Experience with NetSuite, Magento, Drupal, and Shopify

- Familiarity with website development software (Drupal, Word Press, Dreamweaver)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, climb, and navigate throughout jobsites and manufacturing plants
- Ability to safely lift and move objects up to seventy-five (75) lbs. over short distances
