Job Description

Coding Products (Kalkaska, MI) isa member of the Specialty Filmsdivision of Illinois Tool Works (NYSE: ITW), a Fortune 200 global diversified industrial manufacturer.We offer a safe work environment with a stable company thathas been specializing in the development and manufacture of standard and custom printing ribbons for 40 years.

WehavetwoSlitter(machine) Operator positions open:one2nd shift(Mon - Fri 2:00-10:30p) and one 3rd shift (Sun-Thur 10:00p-6:30a).Starting pay is $11.64/hour plus an additional$0.75/hour shift premium from 6:00p-6:00a. The primary responsibility of this position is the setup and operation ofmulti-blade slitting machinesto cut and windlarge rolls of ink-coated polypropylene or polyester film into smaller rolls as determined by customer specification. Operators are also responsible for quality, material handling and packing duties. The physical requirements includeconstant standing/walking; constant use of upper extremities tohandle/manipulate/lift/carry/reach; and ability to visually identify product quality defects.
