Content & Proposal (RFP) Writer

As our Content & Proposal (RFP) Writer you will:

• Analyze ICON’s business products and services
• Translate solutions into effective business proposals, drawing upon information gathered from ICON’s SMEs
• Coordinate proposal development, keeping track of key deadlines and requirements
• Draft written and graphical responses to RFP questions based on existing company documents, proposals and announcements
• Carefully edit and QA complete proposals
• Apply layout and other desktop publishing skills
• Edit content for clarification and consistency
• Manage content library
• For marketing collateral:
  • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
  • Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
  • Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
  • Coordinate with design team to illustrate articles
  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
  • Promote content on social media
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
  • Update website content as needed

You have:

• Proposal management experience, and are comfortable reaching out to people at all levels of the company with questions and reminders
• Experience navigating online portal systems to retrieve and submit RFPs
• Experience as a strong writer and copy editor - bonus points for Adobe Creative Suite
• Direct Experience in the Staffing Industry
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Portfolio of published articles and marketing pieces
• BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, RFP Specialist, Copywriter or similar role
