Job Description

ITsavvy is looking for a Senior Network Engineer with a strong focus on complex IP networking and firewall solutions. The ideal candidate has a passion for implementing innovative technology solutions, with a special talent for realizing the business value of these ingenious solutions to current and future clients. At the end of the day, our clients need to know that with their significant investment, everything is going to work as promised. We solve technical and business problems to ensure success for both ITsavvy and our clients with one goal in mind: Peace of Mind.

What You'll do

• Installing, configuring, and validating networking, wireless and security solutions.
• Assist Solution Architects with the Scope of Work creation.
• Developing and maintaining processes and procedures to help streamline the functions for our Internal teams and clients.
• Developing reports to show the value we bring to our clients in the form of work done, the health of equipment, etc.
• Performing onsite and remote assessments to gather all information required to determine client needs for solutions.
• Attending events and training to achieve certifications and stay current with technology and industry knowledge.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of similar experience required.
• Experience with Switching, Security, and Mobility Solutions required.
• Switching and Routing: Palo Alto, Cisco, HPE/Aruba certification preferred.
• Networking certification is required; PCNSE and CCNP or other ACMP/ACMA certification required, Nexus a plus.
• IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, Spam filtering, and content filtering experience is required.
• Experience with Active Directory, Radius, DHCP/DNS, TCP/IP, and VPN is required.
• MS office applications and MS Visio are required.
• Experience in Networking solutions such as: Palo Alto, Aruba ClearPass, Aruba Airwave, Cisco ISE, Extreme Networks Switching and Wireless, Juniper Networking, Cisco ASA with Firepower, Sophos Firewall, and End Point Protection, SonicWall Firewall, Fortinet Solutions, Wireless Aruba, Cisco/Meraki, Extreme/Aerohive, and Ekahau.
