Job Description

We are actively seeking an IT ASSET MANAGER for a growing and transformational financial services client. This IT Asset Manager role is in support of ~1.5k users and spans ITSM, CMDB, and SACM. Using JSM Insight, you will administer the IT Service Management and methodology for software assets (not devices).

Location: Phoenix, AZ or Remote in MT/PT Time zones preferred

What you’ll be doing: 

You will play a pivotal role in providing Jira JSM support, IT Asset Tracking, and maintaining a stable back-office, technical infrastructure, and architectural standards for Enterprise IT Organization.

  • Support the direction and strategy of Software Asset Management.
  • Conduct Publisher reviews and identify optimization and remediation activities. For example, identify candidate licenses for harvesting from retired or repurposed assets, all governing docs and identify non-compliant software
  • Review entitlement and procurement documents for compliance terms and use rights
  • Support operational, business as usual (BAU) activities of the program
  • Provide input for ITAM/SACM and SAM continuous improvement and automation
  • Aggregate entitlement for governing documents, for agreements, software purchasing, license data, etc.
  • Ensure key technical procedures, standards, quality control mechanisms, and tools are properly applied including performing Publisher activities
  • Maintain constructive relationships within and outside the team.
  • Scope level of effort and duration with high accuracy given limited available information
  • Maintain agile tracking for detailed weekly updates regarding achievements, internal and external dependencies, status, and any risk or issues
  • Lead and support all areas of Insight Module for Jira; and Insight Discovery Module for Jira
  • Lead and maintain accurate IT Physical and Software Assets and Inventory

What you’ll have: 

  • 5-7 years with a focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL V3/V4 and working in a highly regulated SOC2 and SOX compliance environment.
  • In-depth understanding and background in CMDB, Jira Insight Discovery, Service Mapping, and Performance Analytics
  • Expert understanding of the key technologies relevant to the Jira Insight integration solutions, including ODBC, REST, SOAP, JSON, PowerShell, API, LDAP, SSL, SSO, etc.
  • Strong technical leadership skills; communication; people interaction; CMDB
  • 3-5 years implementing Jira Service Desk and Jira Insight to 1000+ user-based companies
  • 3-5 years working with Insight Module of Jira
  • 3-5 years working with Insight Discovery Module of Jira
  • Prior experience working with Confluence module of Jira Cloud
  • Jira module migration and integration experience
  • Experience developing and maintaining CMDB technical design standards
