IT Systems Administrator

Job Requirements:

• This role is for a responsible, highly motivated, goal oriented, self-starting individual. As a member of the team the candidate is expected to:
• Be a problem solver that can define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Provide initial troubleshooting when engaging with the customers and escalate when needed.
• Develop themselves by following along to issue resolution in order to continue to learn.
• Administer the installation, upgrades and monitoring of software/hardware.
• Troubleshoot end user issues and engage manufactures as needed.
• Prepare hardware for deployments.
• Support with various internal and external audits.
• Maintain the operating systems, business applications, security tools, communications platforms, workstations, local and wide area networking (both hardware and software) and server infrastructure.
• Must be able to lift at minimum 50 pounds.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years in Microsoft On-Prem and/or Cloud environments.
• Robust knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Server Virtualization.
• Understanding of networking, storage, high availability, and patching a plus.
• Experience in Azure or Microsoft 365 a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, related field, or more importantly equivalent years of field experience.
• Participates in departmental, training and staff meetings.
• Adhere to all compliance, company policies and procedures.
