Desktop Engineer - Contract Role, Part-time and Remote
The Desktop Engineers primary responsibility is to design, architect, manage and maintain end users desktop platform
The Desktop Engineer creates operating system images, performs operating system upgrades and software patches, deploys applications
10+ years of IT knowledge and demonstrated hands-on experience in desktop engineering and administration (Windows)
Experience in Desktop Engineer role, specifically with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Solid experience in designing, building and optimizing desktop engineering projects independently
Experience with Group Policy, Active Directory, Azure management
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Technology
Experience overseeing MDM
Experience providing Tier 3 support
Experience with desktop security initiatives
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication (both verbal and written) skills
Planning and organizing skills
This is a remote position.
