The Role: The Vice President for Business Development is responsible for meeting company growth objectives through new sales to both new and existing clients. The BD VP is further responsible for all sales operations and reporting, capture management, proposal management, new client relationship management and maintaining/administering the company CRM tool, C2P. The BD VP is a key leader role and will report directly to the President of the company.
What will you be doing?: Conduct all sales management for assigned BD personnel. Develop and sustain sales reporting Manage all capture and proposal activities with assigned staff Administer CRM tool Select, manage and retain all assigned BD & capture staff Assist in the develop of strategic plans for the company Develop new client relationships and leverage existing ones Develop teaming partnerships and negotiate teaming agreements Establish a sales funnel using Shipley techniques Ultimately responsible for all company sales and sales operations You meet our "must haves" if: Bachelors or Masters Degree (Preferably in Business, Engineering or IT) 10-15 years of ever increasing responsibility in Federal government BD & Capture Proven ability to win billable staff work in the Federal trade space Knowledge of both DOD and Non-DOD acquisition processes Proven ability to execute sales management for an entire company across multiple verticals Knowledge and use of OTAs Knowledge of the FAR and ITAR Experience in develop and briefing capture strategy Experience in selling and staffing overseas positions Experience in selling IT solutions, cyber security, data science and analytics, mobile solutions and artificial intelligence Significant experience in developing client relationships with financial decision-makers Experience in developing corporate strategy and supporting sales plans Experience in developing and managing incentive plans Clearance Requirements: Must have an active Secret Clearance at time of hire and be clearable to the TS/SCI level.
