Job Description: Job Summary:As a Senior Network Engineer with a Collaboration Focus, you are a key member of the technical team. You are responsible for executing projects and providing break/fix support within the Network and Collaboration disciplines. You use your advanced skill level to provide focused technical expertise and technical mentoring and guidance to Network Engineers throughout the organization. You are humbly confident and use your knowledge to build confidence without being a “know-it-all.” You successfully fulfill the following essential duties and responsibilities:You will use your TECHNICAL SKILLS to:Implement and maintain networking environments using your proficiency in the following:Technologies & Protocols: Voice over IP (VoIP)Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP)Skinny Call Control Protocol (SCCP)Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP)H.323PRI/POTSRoute PlansCall CenterQuality of ServiceVarious routing and switching technologiesProducts & Solutions:Cisco Unified Communications ManagerCisco Contact Center ExpressCisco Emergency ResponderCisco Video SolutionsCisco JabberMicrosoft Teams VoiceVisioSuccessfully execute implementation projects for ISG customers.Provide pre-sales technical support to sales team for both collaboration and data networking projects.Product development with Offering Lifecycle Management / Architecture groupsAttend client opportunity meetings as a technical engineer. Participate in rotation of after hours on call support.Acquire and maintain technical certifications needed to perform your job duties.Participate in IT-related projects as requested by management. You will utilize your LEADERSHIP SKILLS to efficiently:Serve as a technical lead by mentoring and assisting Network Engineers with multiple, simultaneous customer projects.Mentor Network Engineers to encourage teamwork and professional growth. You will utilize your ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS to efficiently:Provide project design, delivery time and Bill of Material activities for customer projects.Provide technical guidance on scopes of work as needed, create/present project handoff technical documentation and create/maintain client documentation. Manage and prioritize complex, changing workloads in a challenging technical environment.Complete ConnectWise data entry accurately and timely.Meet ISG standards of utilization and billable hours. You will use your TEAMWORK SKILLS to:Partner with other Senior Network Engineers to provide solutions to challenging problems.Participate in team training programs in order to maintain standards of the team.Work with Network Engineering team members to develop and design ISG best practice solutions and associated documentation (Break/Fix and Deployment Guides).Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and keep current on technology products. You will meet the following educational, licensing, certification, and work experience requirements: Technical Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience Minimum of 4 years’ experience work with network environments; 6+ years preferred.Experience working with standard sales methodologies and supporting tools and applications.Previous leadership experience a plus.Ability to assist in designs for both Unified Communications and data networking projects.One or more of the following certifications highly preferred:Cisco CCNP CollaborationCisco CCNP Enterprise (R&S)Cisco CCDPHold and maintain a valid driver’s license; driving record must meet the criteria of ISG’s insurance carrier for acceptance of coverage.
