Reports directly to the Technical Lead responsible for providing technical direction, guidance, and oversight for this task
Secure credentials for accounts, executing transformations in AWS (e.g., lambda, glue), manage S3 storage, managing an AWS RDS SQL database (manual reconciliations, manual updates to tables, creating or running queries, troubleshooting)
Collect and consolidate multiple sources of data, loading data into an existing cloud-based relational SQL database, and publishing multiple Tableau dashboards with appropriate user row-level security, and associated PDF reports
Assist with development of best practices for monitoring the cloud consumption during their pilot (requires daily client interaction, as well as interaction with cloud resellers (e.g., AWS, Google, Azure)
Adhere to tight deadlines, with no margin for error in reporting budget
Maintain all SOPs related to the security of Cloud Services’ applications and cloud environments (Cloud Services utilizes Teams and SharePoint as the primary SOP and systems documentation repository)

Job Requirements & Skills:
BA/BS or additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance or a similar quantitative field, is preferred
Should have excellent analytical and data modelling abilities as well as outstanding business acumen and comfort with technical teams, data, and systems
Must be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and will enjoy working with large scale data
Must have 3+ years of relevant work experience in data science, business analytics, business intelligence (BI), or comparable experience in big data environments
Must have 2+ years of experience using, writing and optimizing SQL queries in a business environment
Must have 2+ years of experience using business intelligence reporting and visualization tools (such as Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, Looker and QuickSight, Advanced Excel such as v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
Must be able to manually overcome any technology issues in order to report information accurately and timely

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described herein are representative of those which must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in a standard office or conference room setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer.

To visit other company sites, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle and fly in an aircraft, both of which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time. Employees must possess vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas will be required. This position requires an employee to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance; reach, push, and pull drawers and doors open and closed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
