Description:

Demonstrates proficiency in a range of trade skills, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and heating and cooling. Adheres to all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency guidelines, and Company directives pertaining to building operations and workplace safety. Executes assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency maintenance, and preventive maintenance tasks. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance and repair activities. Assesses assigned work orders and estimates the required time and materials for completing repairs. Procures necessary materials and supplies to ensure completion of all tasks. Assists in the installation and modification of building equipment systems. Supports troubleshooting and repair efforts for various building systems, including plumbing, kitchen equipment, drains, shops, and HVAC. Conducts inspections of new installations to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Ensures proper functioning of lighting systems by cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps. Performs carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed. Promptly responds to emergency situations and requests additional assistance when necessary. Provides escort services for vendors as required. Carries out any other assigned duties in accordance with job requirements. This position does not involve formal supervisory responsibilities. Makes decisions based on a general understanding of procedures and company policies, with the goal of achieving established results and meeting deadlines. Errors in judgment may have a temporary impact on colleagues and supervisors.
