Our client is one of the leading commercial cable/wire distributor for Marine/Offshore/Utilities use located in Fort Lee, NJ with $150M in revenue. They are currently seeking a candidate for the Inside Sales Associate position.
Job Summary
The company is looking for a motivated and well-spoken individual to join our sales team as an Inside Sales Associate. This associate will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, and partnering with the Outside Sales team to ensure a smooth sales process.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Outside Sales to generate leads and provide sales support via documentation
o Create quotes
o Provide spec sheets
o Follow up on leads
o Close sales and meet sales targets
o Order processing
- Communicate with clients both via email and phone call to identify sales needs and opportunities
- Keep up with product and lead time updates
- Create and maintain database of current and potential customers
o Research and qualify new leads
o Keep up to date on market changes
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales or customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Experience in data entry/processing/database software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good organization skills and ability to multitask
o Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
o Phone and cold calling skills a plus
o Strong listening skills and sales skills
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams to ensure smooth sales process and meet targets
