POSITION OVERVIEW

Use your expert-level consultative and strategic sales skills to maximize the success of our MV, HV & EHV electrical utility customers. Represent the premiere underground cable and accessories reliability solution resource.

You will:

  • Be a key member of the business development & leadership team in a company with sustained year-over-year revenue growth
  • Set client strategy and leverage internal resources to develop comprehensive customer solutions
  • Develop broad revenue-producing client relationships at all levels: Operations, Engineering & Executive
  • Apply your business acumen, experience and creativity to determine each client’s specific needs
  • Translate the client’s needs (VOC) effectively to the organization to effectively design services to meet the client’s expectations
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, operations and senior management in a fast-moving, results-oriented environment to customize the “right” offering to our clients
  • Accelerate the development of your capabilities to increase your and IMCORP’s long-term client value proposition
  • Work from your home office

REQUIREMENTS

  • B.S. in engineering preferred; other degrees combined with direct and relevant experience will also be considered
  • At least 5 years related experience, 10 years preferred
  • Availability for travel of up to 50% of time throughout assigned region in North America, often with short notice
  • In-depth knowledge of principles and practical applications of IMCORP technology/services
  • Ability to work with C-level executives, decision makers and stakeholders to manage and control their company’s costs and improve efficiency by delivering reliable energy solutions
  • Customer needs assessment skills
  • Ability to professionally communicate with diverse clients with technical backgrounds in verbal and written forms

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and lead programs to increase Strategic & Key client sales growth
  • Build and execute tactical specific account development, improvement and future strategic plans
  • Coordinate recommendations from the technical & sales/marketing teams to the client stakeholders and decision makers
  • Identify specific New Business Development, Key Account Management, and VOC needs
  • Maintain a high awareness of utility needs, market trends, competitive environment, current pricing strategies and the legal/regulatory structure of deregulated energy markets
  • Maintain company credibility, brand value, and trust with prospective clients by presenting the “best practice” cable reliability strategies and product offerings
  • Gain knowledge, insight, and understanding of key decision makers regarding specific challenges
  • Formulate, develop and implement quarterly business strategies to ensure attainment of goals
  • Drive business and ensuring sustained growth
  • Expand business reach and proactively create new service offerings
  • Constantly interact with prospects and maintain cordial business relationship with key clients
  • Handle high-value sales, addressing minor details and identifying areas of improvements in customer service
  • Track & understand utility industry trends & communicate to IMCORP teams
  • Develop WIN-WIN client solutions matching the client’s ROI’s and key KPI requirements
  • Maintain company credibility, brand value, and trust with prospective clients by presenting the formulation and implementation of sophisticated cable reliability strategies and product offerings
  • Grow deep, value-providing relationships for existing clients while establishing long-term mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Lead the technical support for clients/prospective clients and responses to technical inquiries
  • Provide strategic input for technical marketing and sales activities including phone calls, conference calls, oral presentations, seminars and webinars
  • Ensure all IMCORP teams establish and maintain positive relationships at all levels of the organization, internally and externally
  • Develop, manage and lead the client’s IMCORP team interface
  • Help develop technical documents such as application notes, technical bulletins, technical papers and magazine articles
