We are proud that our students are as diverse and exciting as the countries we study.We're not ashamed to admit, we're a little bit obsessed with study abroad.Summary of position:A member of the Marketing Department, the Writer an integral part of the writing, editing, and development of all marketing-related content. Ambitious, well rounded, and a good multitasker, the Writer is skilled at developing engaging, fresh, and inspiring copy for a range of media (web and print) and audiences (prospective students, parents, and study abroad office coordinators) with the goal of sharing the organization's mission and promoting studying and interning abroad. Additionally, the Writer manages IES Abroad's extensive student correspondent/blogger program, including soliciting and mentoring 100+ student correspondents per year.

They may also assist with creating and implementing proactive media and communications plans for both internal and external audiences.Experience & Qualifications/Skills: 5+ years of experience writing, editing, and developing targeted marketing/communication collateral, including press releases Proven exceptional writing and editing skills across multiple platforms and audiences Excellent organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail Experience writing internal and external email communications Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a marketing team and others Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to communicate with multiple target audiences Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines Enjoys brainstorming independently and with colleagues Self-starter Good sense of humor Strong research skills for story ideation Desire to work in a mission-driven organization committed to equity, inclusion, and anti-racism Study, living, or travel abroad experience a plusEducation Licenses and/or Certifications etc.: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or related field.How to Apply:All applicants should submit an application including cover letter, resume, and salary requirements by clicking 'Apply Now' at the right side of this page.Please visit for more information about working at IES Abroad.Equal Opportunity Employment:IES Abroad is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from all qualified candidates.
