Summary of Position:
The Operations Intern serves as the right-hand support to the CEO. The individual will play an active role while supporting the CEO in a wide range of activities that cut across all levels of the organization, with a focus on operations. The Operations Intern must have impeccable organizational skills, outstanding communication skills both verbal and written. This role will have a heavy administrative function to it and will afford the individual the opportunity to gain access to the IDEMIA portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Day-to-day administrative support to the CEO including:
    • In conjunction with the Exec Admin Assistant, will assist with scheduling.
    • Conduct research as requested.
    • Ensure the CEO is properly prepared for internal and external meetings, events, and activities.
    • Take meeting notes or minutes.
  • Track tasks, provide outreach and oversight of CEO’s coordination amongst staff.
  • Respond to daily miscellaneous requests and projects.
  • Coordinate effort amongst appropriate internal teams.
  • Will attend select meetings alongside the CEO, document pertinent information, clearly define next steps, and ensure that all actions are followed up on.
  • Provide general support to growth initiatives initiated or driven by the CEO.
  • Assist with Board of Directors meetings and Senior Leadership Team meetings support, as needed.

  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to put theory into practice. Team player attitude.
  • Ability to think strategically at a high-level with a willingness to deliver tactical and administrative tasks on a regular basis.
  • Strong initiative and ability to take the next steps without being prompted.
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of how businesses operate.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal), active listening, organizational and stress management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills are key.
  • Sound intelligence and judgment, ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • In the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • Prior internships.
  • Highly PC proficient, Microsoft Suite, Excel, Power Point.
  • Must be U.S. citizen, cannot be a dual citizen.
  • Must submit and pass a background investigation and drug test.
