About The Role

We're looking for a customer service oriented person looking to grow their skill-set.

The day to day in this position will constantly change due to the role being very well rounded. The principal function of this position is to provide computer support for PC hardware and software applications, including installing; maintaining and upgrading PC hardware; analyzing and diagnosing problems and conducting special projects. This position will also perform Windows server installations, maintenance, and support. Additionally, this position will assist with projects that require physical labor such as network cabling and security system installations. This position will require a self-motivated individual as majority of the work is self-directed. The principal duties of the position are performed both in a general office environment and various locations throughout the valley so reliable transportation is a must.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and/or software problems.
  • Installation of user equipment which may include personal computers, printers, scanners, copier peripherals and related equipment.
  • Establishes network connectivity and computer based profiles for users.
  • Installs, maintains and upgrades system hardware and software.
  • Assists in security and anti-virus systems operation and maintenance.
  • Upgrades and supports software related problems.
  • Operates help-desk to respond to user issues and questions, including answering telephones and e-mail questions.
  • Provides general assistance to users in the operation and understanding of general office computer programs.
  • Maintaining Windows
  • Cable installation.
  • Security Camera/Security System installation.
  • Stand up and support both physical and virtual Windows Server / Domain Environments
  • Cybersecurity Solutions
  • Deploy and maintain Wireless infrastructure

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

· Demonstrated proficiency managing Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2 and above, Remote Desktop services, Active Directory, Office 365 and user management

· Experience in building, maintaining, and managing windows-based servers

· Solid technical knowledge in building and maintaining networks at all levels

· Exceptional multi-tasking skills: ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines

· Self-motivated – takes initiative and works independently

· Problem solving issues that are complex in nature

· Teamwork and interpersonal communication proficiency

· Clear and concise Documentation

· Able to lift more than 50lbs

· Reliable transportation

Basic Qualifications

· High school or equivalent diploma

· 5+ years of hands on IT systems or relevant experience in a commercial production environment

· 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Administration and Active Directory

· 5+ years of experience troubleshooting skills in a multi-user high availability environment

· 5+ years of experience with networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP

· 5+ years of experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation

· 5+ years IT experience with client, server, and network service delivery

· Strong troubleshooting skills

· Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to manage high priority projects

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or IT related field

· Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert and Microsoft Certified IT Professional Systems Administrator Certifications

· CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or other industry relevant certifications

· Experience with VoIP systems a plus

· Construction experience a plus
