Job Description


ICON International is looking for a Data Coordinator to join our growing Data & Analytics Team! This person will report to the Director, Data & Analytics and the Senior Analyst, Data & Analytics and will aid in the transformation of the ICON Digital reporting and analysis landscape. The Data Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring integrity, accuracy of data, as it connects from programmatic platforms, ad servers, and social platforms to client-facing dashboards. The coordinator will work closely with the programmatic, social, search, ad ops, and buying teams to understand the value of the data, how it should be presented both internally and to clients, and how to transform and manipulate data to meet the needs of different teams and strategies. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of data management and reporting experience in the digital media field, who takes pride in maintaining excellent organizational skills and data integrity.


  • 1-2 years digital media experience in reporting and data management
  • Experience and knowledge of media data sets, including:
    1. Ad Servers
    2. Social Platforms
    3. SEM
    4. Programmatic Platforms/DSP’s
  • Strong ability to collect and aggregate data from disparate sources
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Data manipulation and visualization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree

Abilities, Skills, Knowledge: 

  • Data: 
    1. Ensure data quality and data documentation by executing data QA across multiple data sources, understanding sources of data to build analyses, documenting processes
    2. Determine the needs of the analysis, where information should be sourced, and the type of data needed
    3. Compile large volumes of data into a concise digestible manner
    4. Experience using data visualization tools such as: Tableau, Microsoft Power Bi, Data Studio or Domo
    5. Ability to provide relevant, actionable insights
    6. Beginner knowledge of data manipulation and statistical tools such as SQL, Python and R
    7. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Index Match, VLOOKUP, Advanced Conditional Formatting, Charts, Tables)
  • Media Knowledge: 
    1. Understanding of basic media industry terminology and metrics and their relative importance (Impressions, Views, CPM, CPV, VCR, CTR, GRP)
    2. Experience with marketing technology-based data sources such as Google Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads/Business Manager, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Project Management: 
    1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    2. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
    3. Ensuring data is stored appropriately and is backed up
    4. Ability to multi-task, communicate effectively across teams, and work under pressure to manage timelines and client expectations
    5. Excellent organizational and time management skills
