ICAN Advertising is looking for quality sales people in Eastern South Dakota.
These are multi-faceted, self-starting, deadline-driven positions, where the individuals are responsible for prospecting, consulting, selling, and implementing custom advertising solutions for ICAN Advertising clients. We want leaders who can cultivate new opportunities and serve an existing client base. While we list some of the qualities and responsibilities below, we are looking for someone who will give first class service to our clients.
Full-Time
Office & Local Outside Sales/Limited Travel
Salary plus commission and benefits.
Here are some characteristics we are looking for in a candidate:
§ Self-Starter
§ Great communicator
§ Comfortable with the sales process (making cold calls, presenting, closing, etc.)
§ Successful collaborator
§ Good business acumen
§ Possesses “professional tenacity”
§ Previous media sales experience preferred
Some of your specific job responsibilities are:
§ Adhere to and exemplify ICAN attitudes
§ Identify and solicit prospects via cold calls, phone, virtual meetings, etc.
§ Meet with clients & prospects, identify their needs, brainstorm ideas, perform market research and match with appropriate products
§ Prepare and deliver custom proposals and presentations for client meetings
§ Communicate, follow up with clients, close sales and retain accounts
§ Create client schedules and keep notes in ICAN software systems
§ Utilize various software tools and learn new applications
§ Guide clients through our production process in cooperation with production team
§ Collaborate with all members of the ICAN Team (sales, production, traffic, digital)
§ Attend and participate in individual and team meetings
§ Excel at managing details and deadlines
§ Represent ICAN at appropriate networking functions
§ Perform additional duties as outlined by supervisor
§ Perform and behave in an ethical and business-like manner at all times
