Your Role and Responsibilities
Cash Application Analyst
Position description:
Administrative position with responsibilities and duties which are critical to the success of IGF and involve significant interaction with operations teammates.

  • Responsible for accurate and timely application and reconciliation of customer remittances and internal payments as well as research and correction of application discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent working knowledge of cash application procedures, guidelines, and supporting information systems while applying this knowledge throughout the daily course of business.
  • Monitor various reports to ensure accuracy and program integrity and immediately notify management of issues. Application of payments involves significant data entry responsibilities.
  • Reconcile accounting activity reports according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
  • Maintain detail documentation supporting all payment activity. Assume additional responsibilities and assist others as assigned.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player, process requests timely and accurately.

Location is Smyrna, Georgia, IBM Highlands Office. No remote work possible.
