The Weather Company, an IBM Business is seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Executive for our growing Agriculture business. You will work collaboratively with the extended IBM sales teams to implement impactful sales strategies, accelerate pipeline growth, and sign new clients in your assigned territory. Additionally, you will be expected to serve as a Industry & Weather Subject Matter Expert (SME) tying IBM's Ag solutions & Weather conditions to client revenue, supply chain and operational impact.
Primary responsibilities are to prospect for new Agriculture clients, build SaaS pipeline and close net new business. This is a quota carrying position focused on North America.
+ Develop and manage customer and client relationships through the full sales cycle
+ Collaborate with all available relevant resources to identify potential customers
+ Lead all efforts to ensure a superior customer buying experience
+ Develop a deep understanding of client business requirements, and design targeted solutions and proposals enabling client objectives
+ Communicate customer engagement internally via thorough opportunity management in CRM
+ 5-years field sales experience in Agriculture-related business
+ Degree in meteorology or climatology
