You are responsible for ensuring our customers receive the most value from I-M Technology’s Managed IT services. Working with our client’s best interests in mind, you are their advocate. With a keen business sense and strong understanding of small business IT needs, you help implement our proven vCIO process.
Clear, concise explanations of how our IT solutions will address a problem or achieve a business goal are provided. Your strong written and verbal communication skills allow you to convey recommendations with confidence and understanding. Our clients value your insight and look forward to the contributions you make to their business.
You will work with I-M Technology’s engineering staff to understand how the client’s technology compares to our IT best practices. Any technology gaps will be reviewed with the client, and you may present a plan of action. With guidance from our engineering staff, you will generate proposals for a project or address other needs.
You will meet with each client on a predetermined schedule based on the clients need. Annually you will present an updated IT budget and technology roadmap reflecting any changes with our client’s business technology. Occasionally you will discuss pricing changes based on growth or additional services.
Other times you will check in with owners to review project outcomes, address any service issues you can help with, make them aware of any new technology trends or threats, and see if they have any business initiatives you can help with.
Compliance needs and cyber security training are coordinated with your efforts. You also help with cyber education presentations to our client’s employees. Our healthcare clients depend upon you for coordinating their HIPAA compliance services. Our defense manufacturing clients depend on you to assist in CMMC compliance.
With strong communication skills, you’re able to convey confidence, and risk-free solutions to most any technology challenge a business owner may be facing.
You have a strong understanding of business technology fundamentals. You’re familiar with client/server environments, have a broad understanding of cloud services and Office 365 licensing. You’re well read and up to speed on cyber security threats and trends, and are familiar with techniques to thwart cyber threats. Your solid understanding of business financials and operations allows you to communicate effectively with business owners.
Over time you develop strong relationships that are based on the value I-M Technology’s services represent.
Candidates with a business degree and technology background are favored. This is very much a people person role that is client facing every day. The position is ideal for a candidate familiar with small business IT and who has a strong business background and is adept at business conversations.
