Job Description

The Relationship Marketing Manager is responsible for managing marketing processes in the CRM and supporting the business units at Hyperion Materials & Technologies by helping them to use data and analytics to drive organic growth. The Relationship Marketing manager will develop and drive the roadmap for the organization and drive the appropriate structure of the data in our CRM. This role will also work on the development of CRM discipline best-practices and bring data and analytics forward to support sales and marketing functions. The Relationship Marketing Manager is responsible for: 1) being the primary contact for operational issues related to the Hyperion CRM, 2) collaborating with businesses to improve CRM discipline and day-to-day use, and 3) developing and implementing strategies for reporting database and lead growth. This position can be remote in the Eastern or Central Time Zones in the US.

Specific responsibilities

  • Works with the Director of Commercial Excellence and other key stakeholders to develop a roadmap for the CRM
  • Operates as the day-to-day owner of the CRM from a sales and marketing process perspective, including data management, lead management and lead entry processes.
  • Develops analytics and reports to serve the requirements of the business units and the global marketing team to drive actionable growth strategies.
  • Benchmarks against similar industries/companies on best practices and database management processes for CRMs, and designs processes to align or compete with those best practices.
  • With partners in IT, ensures that data is structured in a way that optimizes our sales and marketing efforts, and positions us for sustainable growth and management of the contacts in our CRM.
  • Oversees CRM integration processes following the acquisition of new businesses.
  • Monitors CRM discipline from field sales reps, customer experience teams and marketing and makes recommendations to business managers for improvements.
  • Manages alignment between the CRM and other key software platforms to ensure seamless integration and data capture to allow for robust reporting.
  • Supports the development of sales support strategies using CRM data, including supporting the sales channel with target selection and prioritization providing actionable data to sales and marketing teams
  • Monitors CRM contact/account growth, aging and cleansing.
  • Works with various stakeholders to enhance the CRM on an ongoing basis to support our continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/MS Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communications, MIS or similar.
  • 5+ years working in a database marketing role, supporting or leading the use of a CRM in a B2C or B2B environment.
  • Use of MS Dynamics CMS is strongly preferred, but experience with other CRM systems is ok.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate business requirements, drive change and work with others to achieve results.

• Self-starter, highly motivated with excellent business-wide communication skills.

• Proficient computer skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of technical products.

• Experience collaborating with various stakeholders and 3rd party consultants/vendors in a global environment a plus.

  • PC/desk work including reading/typing. Ability to work flexible schedules/extended hours on occasion to collaborate with partners in Europe and Asia. Occasional travel to visit customers or consultants.
  • Ability to travel globally <10% of the time.
